Cassandra’s passion for providing deep support to families during one of the most difficult periods of their lives and turning their experiences into positive pathways is exceptional. Not only a collaborative family lawyer of excellence, Cassandra has created a culture and community of empathy and care at Kalpaxis Legal, which underpins our holistic approach to all things legal. As a mother of three, Cassandra understands all that comes with being a parent, and how overwhelming and anxiety causing separation can be.

Cassandra is a trained divorce coach and is so passionate about supporting people to live their best lives while separating and post divorce, she created the highly successful and healing Detox Your Divorce retreats and programs.

Cassandra is one of Australia’s few practitioners practising family and fertility law which assists people to create life through assisted reproductive technology. Cassandra regularly appears at exhibitions across Australia to educate people about their options in creating life outside of the traditional conception pathway. She has presented as a keynote speaker at many reproductive events and offers compassion through her lived experience with her own fertility challenges.

Heela is witness to the adversity of parents in the separation pathway all the time, and is conscious of the way that people enter that space. She applies empathy and compassion to every matter she is involved in, making you feel like she is part of your family. Heela understands the role and importance of each family member and the rights that parents, grandparents and other loved ones have in the separation journey. Her particular interest and experience is in working with various family structures, from blended families with diverse backgrounds to traditional nuclear family structures.
In her downtime, Heela winds down to her current favourite TV show, Ertugrul – a series abouta Turkish warrior from the 13th century during the Ottoman Empire.
Heela is a coffee-lover. Her order is a strong oat milk cappuccino, she can be seen indulging in two of these a day.
MEET NILOUFAR HARIRI

Niloufar is passionate about family law and specialises in providing advice and support to people who are going through marriage break downs, seeking to resolve parenting or property disputes.
Niloufar is an advocate of non-adversarial approaches to conflict resolution and is passionate about the utility that alternative dispute resolution pathways bring.
Her caring and compassionate approach guides clients through what can be a highly emotional and challenging time in their lives.
Niloufar was awarded the John O’Brien Memorial Coursework Scholarship in Criminal Law and Criminology.
If she was a cocktail she would be a whiskey sour.
MEET Sophie Kalpaxis
Client Happiness Officer
We welcome Sophie Kalpaxis to our team! Sophie is a baby Chihuahua and our youngest, cutest, smallest team member of Kalpaxis Legal.
Sophie has gladly accepted the role of Client Happiness Officer (and runs a side-hustle as Staff Happiness Officer throughout the day). Sophie’s office hours are 9-5pm Monday – Friday. She is currently in training and we do admit, Sophie is often caught sleeping on the job. Yep, training is tiring when you’re a young pup like Sophie!
